The votes have been counted, and Sarah Herr and the Spartan Sparkles of Bettendorf, Iowa, have won the grand prize in Modern Woodmen of America's Gatherings with Purpose Giveaway!
The grand prize consists of a $2,500 cash prize for the entrant, plus a matching donation for the purpose his or her gathering supported. Sarah has chosen to donate all winnings to the purposes in her story, $2,500 to the Spartan Sparkles and $2,500 to Hand-in-Hand. The four runners-up will each receive a $100 cash prize.
