"Thing 1 and Thing 2" Dr. Seuss Baby Shower

Dr. Seuss books are not only a part of many childhood memories; they can also make a great theme for a playful baby shower. For the parents of twins, tie the party to Thing One and Thing Two, the mischievous beings portrayed in “The Cat in the Hat.” Red and teal make a great start for this theme, as they are the things’ signature colors.
Start early with a themed invitation in the party’s colors. Serve blue cotton candy to play off the things’ wild hair or even top red velvet cupcakes with cotton candy. Because Dr. Seuss is a master of rhymes, play baby rhyme time with guests.
