Add a new spin to your Christmas festivities. Send out “Merry Grinch-mas” invitations for a fun, children’s holiday party. Ask guests to dress up like a character from the book. They could dress like the Grinch, the Whos or even the Grinch’s dog.
Then, make a feast fit for Who-ville, with roast beast – or roast beef sandwiches. Serve a tangy green punch and green jello for an added touch of Grinch. For extra fun, play a Grinch trivia game and have a contest to un-decorate the tree, just like the Grinch would do.
Decorating Ideas:
- Purchase the book for each guest to take home. These simple favors will also add to your theme during the party.
- Use red and lime green as your theme colors.
- Put ornaments in red and lime green in bowls, hang from trees and light fixtures and spread on tables.
