Make this a sweet celebration for children of all ages. Begin with a pastel invitation adorned with cupcakes, inviting guests to join the party for a sweet time.
Make or purchase a variety of cupcake flavors and set up a cupcake buffet. Children can choose their flavor, their favorite frosting and toppings like sprinkles, nuts and chocolate. Kids will love making their cupcake unique and getting a little messy in the process.
Decorating Ideas:
- Make decorations out of the cupcakes themselves. Arrange them on tiered stands to make them the focal point of the party.
- Use cupcake colors – including pastel pink, blue, green and yellow – to decorate the room.
- Find a cupcake stamp for an added touch on napkins, paper tablecloths and invitations.
- Cut cupcake shapes out of paper and string the shapes together for a festive banner.
