Who says you can only celebrate Christmas in December? Bring a little festivity to summertime with a Christmas in July celebration. It may become more fun than December celebrations, with less stress and better weather.
Send out invitations adorned in red and green. Guests will be delighted for an opportunity to get together for an out-of-the-ordinary holiday celebration. Request that each guest bring a wrapped gift for under $10. At the party, serve traditional holiday treats and sweets and then play the thieving gifts game to choose gifts. All guests will leave with a present and a lot of holiday cheer.
Decorating Ideas:
- Bring out some of your Christmas decorations. Guests will get a kick out of seeing a Christmas tree or Santa Claus in July.
- Red and green reign at this party. Use the colors around the room for serving items, tablecloths and streamers.
- Add some twinkle lights or faux snow for added holiday festivity.
