Surprise parties can be loads of fun – especially if you can pull it off without the guest of honor suspecting a thing!
Invite the honoree out to dinner with a “conspirator” or find another way to distract him while guests arrive for the party. Give attendees an exact time to arrive and plan to arrive with the honoree at least 15 minutes later. Any latecomers should wait out of sight until after the surprise. Park cars on a different street and away from the party location so you don’t tip off the honoree.
