Pirate Party

Print Print
Pirate Party Lead your guests to the party by putting a treasure map on the invitation – “X” marks the spot the party will take place! Similar to “Pin the Tail on the Donkey”, play “X Marks the Spot” by creating a treasure map and awarding a prize to the child who gets closest to the treasure chest. You can also have a treasure hunt by hiding prizes around the party space.
Decorating Ideas:
  • Use red and black as theme colors for your balloons, streamers and tablecloth.
  • Hang pirate flags around the room. Don’t know what they look like? Most arts and crafts stores should have them.
  • Place gold coins, markers and a cardboard box to be decorated as a treasure chest at each place setting.
Gatherings with Purpose Idea:
  • Ask guests to bring along former “treasures” (toys they no longer play with) to be donated to a homeless or domestic violence shelter. More ideas>>
