Making T-Shirts

T-shirts add excitement to gatherings—before and during. After the occasion, they serve as a lasting memento.

Customize T-shirts with your gathering's logo—or simply your family's name—and send them out with your invitations. Many photo shops can use your logo to make photo transfers that you merely iron onto the T-shirts. Also, some color computer printers can print on a special paper to make transfers at your own desktop. You could also use the sale of T-shirts as a fund-raiser and sell them prior to or at the event.

The T-shirt will:

• Communicate that the gathering will be an event worth attending.

• Indicate that the wearer at the get-together is the member of a special, select group.

• Help you spot members of your gathering in crowds at sporting events, concerts, etc., especially if the T-shirts are an unusual color.

• Serve as an equalizer between attendees of different social class. Everyone looks the same in T-shirts.

Creating T-shirts isn't necessary for a successful gathering. But it sure adds to the festive mood.
